I knit the bulk of it on my knitting machine but did all the finishing by hand. The collar, the facing for the zipper, and of course sewing down the hems. The stripes were each knit separately and then seamed together. I finished the whole deal in December of 2011, but then took two years to sew in the zipper. Ahem.

The only changes I’d make would be to lengthen the arms for my brother, but it’s nothing that blocking can’t fix.
