When I went to California this fall for a wedding, I planned on not knitting a thing - knowing myself I took along a few skeins of wool, you know…in case of withdrawal…
And withdrawal came within days.
I went through my pinterest and found this pattern which sounded like a good on-the-go knit.

I did most of my knitting in the car on the #1, the pattern is easy enough that I could still enjoy the scenery.
Thing is, I used an alpaca yarn, so the pattern isn’t 100% as visible as the original. But nonetheless, the shawl has been around my neck constantly since returning to Germany.
I call mine the hearthside because it’s definitely a perfect winter accessory!

Note: I found the charts somewhat unclear. In the end I just followed them very loosely and did a bit of counting and putting my own logic to it :-)
