This past November, my mother gifted me three sock yarns after a trip to Berlin, and a visit to the LYS there.
Two of them turned into Christmas presents, and this last one will be for me.
I’m super proud of my speed in using up these three stash yarns…one a month sounds good to me.

About the socks:
I hate having to wear socks. My summers are usually spent barefoot, and the first weeks of wearing socks feel like having little prison cells on my feet.
When I knit socks, I generally make them rather big, so my feet feel a little more free. But, that sucks for hiking.
After wearing warm socks on a 15k walk this week, I have decided I need a new kind of sock.
Still no cutting off blood supply please, but tight enough so they stay in place.

I did the entire cuff of the sock in k2,p2 ribbing, let’s hope that works.
