8/1 This is my first time doing something like this, so it is a challenge. My lace cast on was too tight, so I’m doing a normal cast on very loosely. I’ve started it twice now, so I hope I’m on my way this time.

8/7 These two top photos are after a week of work. It’s getting easier although there are some mistakes. Sometimes I have to go back and find the mistake to correct, other times I can’t really find it and I work it out. But it takes less concentration now than it did and is going faster. I have 13 repeats done.

9/10 It is finished. It’s 12” wide which is narrower than I had hoped but it is still fine. I love the design. The yarn is very soft also.
