Mods for 38 bust-cast on 270 knit in round. Sleeve alterations too due to limited yarn amounts. Love the stitch pattern - pretty elastic so fit is forgiving and very easily memorable with stitch markers to guide decreases…Notes below…
Twist on a attempt one. Needle broke on attempt two. Is this project cursed?!?
Change colour for first round and increase 9 stitches front and back to bring up to 144 total around - 288 total. Will be ignoring the increases and knit straight to armpits for 16” (ie working like the Jan sweater).

Shape Neck and Shoulders - Next row: Ptn. 48, turn. Cont. in ptn. on these 48 sts., dec. 1 st, at neck edge on every row until 36 Sts. rem. Work 3 rows without shaping, fin. at armhole edge.

Next row: Work to end of row. Rep, these 2 rows once. Cast off rem. sts. Slip the centre 27sts. on to a spare needle and leave for the neck.
