Notes

It’s a year later, and these socks still bleed - even though I colour fasted them. Also the wear of the yarn is terrible - it’s all pilly in the heel and most of the sock is washed out now.

November 20, 2012 - First wash, the black bled into the yellow some. But, it’s a sock and it happens.

Oct 3, 2012 - All done. I did fine some issues with this yarn however on the second sock. It started to have a lot of thin areas - really thin, laceweight - ish. Then all of a sudden there was a really fat spot but I think I disguised it by pulling really tight with my stitches and also it was over the front of the gusset in a place the bends naturally so not too major. I’m really happy with the stripes!

Sept 30 2012 - Second sock is cast on, past the cuff now and working my way down the leg.

May 22 2012 - One sock is finished - finished it up at Hotel Pur in Quebec City. Got a lot of knitting in during the hours or road tripping.

April 10 2012 - I have turned the heel of the first sock. Knitting this up really quickly but haven’t had a chance to work on it over the last week due to preparing for craft and art shows. The yarn is striping beautifully.

March 28 2012 - Going to ballwind this lovely yarn today. Going to use my 66 stitch cast-on on 2.75 needles and make a 1x1 ribbed cuff for 12 rows and do the rest stockinette with heel notes from my totem pole sock pattern.
