I love the way this guy turned out! If I were to make it again, there are a few things I would do differently:

-I would wait until after stuffing the body to attach the feet. (Mine are attached too far down, so he won’t stand on his own.. Which is why there is a coaster in the photos!)
-I would also wait until later to add the tail feathers. I had to push them down and out of the way in order to crochet the next few rounds. I think that this led them to want to fall down. I sewed through a loop of the top two to try to pull them back up, but they still fall more than I’d like.

The only thing I changed while working this pattern was to do the wings starting from the center and going out instead of the way they’re written. It was just too fiddly for me to work with the starting chain in the round.

I also somehow missed the final decrease round before the neck, so his neck is six stitches fatter than it should be (oops). But I think he looks fine so I left it!
