This hat turned out waay too big. It was my own fault. When I checked my gauge at the beginning, it was only slightly off so I decided to keep going. BIG MISTAKE.

The hat almost fits me, and it should be toddler sized. I was going to make another with smaller needles and still give him this one to grow into, but it turns out it fits him alright! It’s a little loose, but it stays on.

I used nine 40” pieces of yarn on each side for the ties. Each section of each braid has two black strands and one red strand.
