Notes

A pair of mitts for my Florida-island-dwelling MIL, whose location is an unending source of frustration** for the knitter married to her son. After years of gifting lightweight shawls for birthdays and Christmaseseses - (pluralized, this is a strange word) - I decided to go a different route and knit something to keep her palms warm. Not her fingers, because - again - Florida…but her palms? They’ve got to get chilly at times, right?

That elongated stitch was a bit of a PITA at first, but I grew to enjoy it. All things told, a lovely pair of mitts!

(** I mean, the CLIMATE is a source of frustration, the fact that I have a MIL who lives on an island in Florida is nothing short of awesome.)
