I have knit a number of successful man-hats during my illustrious knitting career. When it comes to my husband’s noggin, however, I just can’t seem to get it right. Too tight, too loose, too slouchy, too bad…it appears that his head - his stupid, wonderful, but ultimately stupid stupidhead - was formed for the sole purpose of rejecting my hand-knitted efforts.

So, I’m trying again. Why not?

Cast on 90-stitches - which is still a bit big for this odd duck’s head, but we’re rolling with it - and knit for seven inches before beginning decreases, as he was adamant that his ears should be fully covered. The end result appears to be perfect - have I broken the curse?
