Curse-schmurse - I started knitting a sweater for my now-husband on our third date and he’s worn the hell out of it in the years since. Like, REALLY worn the hell out of it, because I knit the damn thing in 100% cotton - I KNOW - and it’s basically a bell-sleeved mini-dress at this point.

For my second attempt: Jason selected both the pattern and yarn - strong choices both! I abso-freaking-love the end result; he’s slender gent and this fits him like a glove. Knit exactly per the pattern, no mods. We were initially concerned that the sleeves were going to be too short for his long monkey-arms, but once joined to the yoke, our fears were assuaged; they’re the perfect length.
