A little treat for myself after several months of holiday-gift-making. Fingering weight yarn, small needles and - best of all - no deadline looming over my head. Swoon.

My gauge (28-stitches over four-inches) was larger than the pattern recommended, so I knit the smallest size to accommodate my 35” bust. The end result - (which is unblocked, so eager am I to wear this to work tomorrow) - fits like a glove. Honestly, I could not be happier with this sweater - it may well be my number-one-favorite-knit-ever.

Accidentally knit the lace portion for 15” (versus 13”) past the armholes and shortened the ribbed hem to compensate for the difference, as I prefer shorter sweaters. Additional modifications involved doing a single decrease per sleeve versus multiple decreases and leaving off the i-cord neckline, as I thought it was perfect as-is.
