My sister can rock a turban and a red lipstick better than most mortals, so this pattern was destined for Xmas giftage. EMPHASIS - THIS TURBAN IS NOT FOR ME, THE ILL-FITTING MODEL. I mean, I can’t even tie a proper turban-bow. I am unworthy of this headpiece.

(I mean, it’s hilarious that I even attempted to model this thing, given that my sister’s head shape and thick hair is infinitely more suited to a turban that mine. I have a small head and super fine hair that can’t even hold a barrette, so - yes - I’m kind of swimming in this one.)

This one greeeeeeeeew after blocking. I have only myself to blame, as I didn’t swatch or - obviously - wash and block a swatch. It should fit my sister’s head though.

Kindly ignore the fact that I botched a few cable twists during the first section (i.e., held the needle to the front instead of the back). We’re calling it an artistic choice.

Great pattern and I really do dig the result.
