Based on an idea by shinyredtype, I cast on fifteen stitches and knit in stockinette until the piece was nice and rectangular. Good times.

Intended to be a Xmas gift for the sibling, who netted a couple laborious/time-consuming projects last year. Xmas 2008, though, is totally the year of the ten-minute rectangle.
