My second preview knit for PPQ - and once again, I opted to go the sock route, because this is a particularly cold Spring and the toes? They need a-warming.

• I rarely swatch for accessories, but would recommend sucking it up and swatching for these darlins. (Source: The girl who knit/grafted an entire sock before realizing it was too large for her feet, and then had to un-graft/frog the thing. Learn from my mistake, dear Reader.)
• My gauge on Size 1 needles was 26 stitches and 56 rows. To compensate for the stitch count, I cast on 66-stitches (four less than the smallest size) and mentally subtracted two stitches per side when doing my heel placement.
• Tubular cast-offs look nice, sure, but I don’t need that kind of stress in my life. You’re looking at Jeny’s Magic Bindoff, friend.
