I (clap) love (clap) this (clap) top (clap)!

As I said with my last Jessie Maed project, I had a strikingly similar top back in the mid-1990’s, and I wore it to shreds. Her designs - in addition to being wonderfully written and inclusive and perfect - speak directly to the riot grrrl of my youth, and I’m all for it.

In terms of mods, I knit the body for a full 10” before separating. I’m happy with the length, but will likely add another two inches to my next top.

And look: In its WIP state, I was a bit skeptical that this top would fit me versus, like, my friend’s six-year old daughter, to whom I was ready to hand this one over - but you’ve got to trust in the ripple, my friends! Including photos of this laid flat, so you can see how something that’s 8” pit-to-pit magically expands to fit a 34” bust.
