Seasonal knits be damned; it’s 70-degrees outside and I am casting on a woolly sweater that will immediately go into storage. How could I not? I mean, JUST LOOK AT IT. (Ed. Note: Okay, fine - the WIP went on hiatus in May, because my love of this pattern was no match for Tennessee’s sultry Summers.)

Every time I leave the house in this sweater - which is often, because I love it - at least one (1) random person compliments it.

Notes/Mods:

• Kept the color scheme in line with the designer’s version, as it’s perfect.
• My gauge is a bit larger than the pattern gauge, so knitting the smallest size (XS/39.25”) resulted in about thirteen inches of positive ease.
• Knit the neckline on Size 5 needles instead of 4’s. I’ve knit a few of Caitlin’s designs in the past, and her neckholes tend to be a bit tighter than my personal preference.
• Sleevies: I like a tight cuff, so: Knit seven rows after the last round of Chart B, did one decrease round (k1, ktog), knit two rows, did another decrease round as above, knit eight rows of ribbing. Boom.
