This is the perfect wardrobe staple, and I couldn’t be happier. Period.

Notes:

• Cast on Size 2 (44”) for an actual 34” bust, allowing 10” of ease.
• As I prefer loose sleeves, I followed Size 3’s instructions for the armhole/sleeves.
• On the subject of sleeves: I tried on the sweater after joining the shoulders and was tempted to go sleeveless, as the sweater looked pretty great without them.
• I used a normal bind-off for the cuffs, versus Kitchener. (I did use that for the neckline, though.)

I haven’t knit a garment with acrylic since I was a weebabyknitter, years and years ago, but saw these skeins on sale for $1.99/pop and, since I cannot resist a mustard, promptly scooped them up. The yarn knits up quite nice - none of that sweaty-handed plastic feel that I remember - and I’m curious to see how it holds up against the “no-pill” billing.

April 2020 Update: I’ve worn and washed this pullover numerous times and it has yet to show any pills or halos. For reference, I chuck this into the washer with the rest of my Delicate Cycle / Cold Water laundry, and air dry it.
