…so named, because I knit the majority of this baby during an eighteen-hour (!!!) round trip to Kentucky and back.

Love-loved my first go at this pattern, so a sequel was inevitable. This time: A little lighter, a little linen-er, a little modified. Got gauge on Size 7’s, cast on for the 36” version and threw a few decreases into the second solid-striped section, just to tighten things up - less boxy, more flowy/triangular, y’know? Knocked the lace repeats down to two (versus three) and added a few rows to the solid section. Because I have a claustrophobic neck, decreased the sleeves down to sixteen stitches (versus twelve) to keep things loose.

Washed the FO with the rest of my laundry, because Knit Picks said I could. Doing so evened out the stitches and resulted in a wee bit of shrinkage; however, since this is a cotton/linen blend, I’m sure it’ll stretch back out with wear.
