2020 Update: This is one of those knits that has strangers asking “Where did you get that? I love it!” literally every time I wear it out. Which I constantly do, BTW, and let me tell you, that Cotton-Ease has held up to multiple machine washings like a champ. New and better quality photos taken during Me Made May 2020.

As for me: I fell in love with this sweater immediately, emphasis on the designer’s stash-efficient striped version. My Cotton-Ease collection is formidable, so I decided to follow suit with a triple-stripe of my own. The end result? Total and complete sweaterlove. The Cotton-ease is a little hefty for DC’s balmy summers, but this will undoubtedly become a favorite wearable once the temperatures cool down to something more reasonable…

Modifications:

• I originally cast on with Size 9’s, but frogged after a few inches in favor of using Size 8’s(/getting a tighter stitch). A good decision in retrospect.

• Decreased down to 16-stitches per sleeve (versus 12-stitches) as I have a claustrophobic neck.

• For this same reason, I didn’t knit the full two-inches for my neckline, instead casting off after slightly over one-inch.
