…being a warm little hat knitted in response to the recent drop in temperature. My noggin was most appreciative during this morning’s stroll to the train station.

Cast on 72 stitches using the smaller needles, knit a few rounds, switched to stockinette on the larger needles and continued to knit until my yarn supply ran low. Divided the stitches into eight segments of nine stitches each (using markers) and k2tog after each marker until a few stitches remained.

I used a partial ball of yarn from my stash for this one. Had there been a few more yards on hand, I would have made it a bit longer for a slouchy effect.
