Stumbled across this pattern during a search for a growler cozy - and immediately dropped everything in favor of casting on. The recipient? Wee Shamus, son of my StarWars-lovin’ friend, due into this world next month.

Knit using stray balls from the stash - a little Berroco Comfort, a little…unlabeled taupe stuff. I knit it to fit a 9oz. bottle that I found at CVS (Philips Avent, 1m+) and, as many other knitters before me, strongly recommend having the bottle in-hand first.

A straightforward knit, though I found the instructions for Yoda’s cloak to be unnecessarily complex. Instead of the break-and-rejoin approach, I made buttonholes with a double yarn-over, which were large enough to accommodate his little Jedi-arms.

Update: The recipient was definitely a fan. :)
