You have to remember while working this pattern….You start at the brim edge and work in also every stitch is a slip stitch. It gets tighter as you go so start with a loose fit. I ripped it out 4 times because no matter how loose I thought I was stitching it was always to tight. I ended up just doing it starting with a chain of 52. Eventhough the yarn is soft because of the slip stitches it turned out stiff and bulky. Also it keeps rolling up…I blocked it but was never happy….However the friend that I made it for loved it and it looked so cute on her.

Flower is Easy Flower by Carolyne Anne using same type of bulky yarn but a smaller hook 5.5mm or 6mm. One less tr in larger petals.
