Finally I have enough information from my sister-in-law to start planning the baby blanket. Fireman theme.

Adapted the PJ Teddy to be a Dalmatian type dog with fireman hat and hose outline. Made a plan in Excel and sketched an outline for dog face/hat.
Changed color of outfit from blue to the tan and looks much better. As going along blanket looks to small so I decided to expand out 1 square. Plan for dog face didn’t work as nicely as intended would have liked to incorporate the black and white spots together as crocheting but it ended up looking so warped & messy. Started stressing so I settled for a simple approach make pieces and add on top. Would have liked a black patched eye and buttons for eyes but not safe for infant had trouble separating eye from black patch…decided on just a simple eye. Ran out of white yarn so made boots with black…happy accident. Fire Hat worked out great with dimensional hat brim. Need to practise changing colors more smoothly.
