As I watched everyone participate in this CAL there was no way I could…first give up control to go into a project with this much money invested and not know what it would be….second spend all that time and money and not like it. So I patiently waited and watched everyones beautiful creations emerge. Once I finished my current project I had some vintage yarn (different weights) and left over yarn from other creations…so I thought I would create my own version. (I am such a rebel…or is that control freek) I have my foundation set and will make 4 pods of 4 sets and fill in with the squares using the Marigold looking one as the feature and the daisy along the outer edge. My only concern is I may not have enough yellow for the sunflowers….love this one.

1/13 Been working on this project again. I changed some yarn on the purple lacey Block. I have also created a new block to fill in the edges. I didn’t make enough squares so I will have to work on that.
