Have had to tink back the last 2 rows of Chart B twice now - simply because the layout of the pattern is rubbish - and even though I knew what to look for I still got it wrong twice !

NB the chart breaks over the middle of the book; any publisher with sense would have printed it landscape …..

Cannot for the life of me get Row 55 correct - the friendly designer suggested moving the stitch markers after the 1st K2tog, putting it in the edge - YaaY it worked, the 1st repeat now has the required 50 stitches.
However, the rest of the repeats still have 52 and thus I have 2 extra stitches … rips hair out and wails

OK, lovely designer helps me work out it is the teenytiny chart in my digital version of the book/pattern - so tiny that I don’t notice the change from the symbol for k1tbl to /.

I do not like cheap publishers who publish big charts in portrait setup and then miniaturize it so it fits on the page. Except it still doesn’t, it goes across the middle with a break in the chart. If one enlarges it, the symbols are smudgy/not clear.

A miserable experience, none of which was down to the pattern itself or the designer, just the formatting/layout, but I conquered it in the end. Not enough beads in the pattern, I should have added more. A LOT smaller than I thought it would be from the photos in the book - even with aggressive blocking it will only be a small shawlette

only used 5g of size 6.0 light blue beads.
