I think there was a typo in the last row of white. 2 hdc then, 1 hdc (instead of sc) in next three stitches?

Initially I tried the red/white yarn before in Vanna’s Choice with size I needle, but then I did it again in Red Heart with an H needle; it looked more crisp and tight.

I also added a red felt lining on the back of the circular part with glue and placed a safety pin through the felt, secured with more stitching.

I really like this and I think I’ll have to make one for myself and maybe more in other colors!
