Compelled to start this on May the Fourth, of course!

Couldn’t find the chunky weight Pumpkin yarn at Michael’s, to my chagrin! So I’m trying this with double-stringed Impeccable (worsted). Crossing my fingers!

Broke my stupid plastic K crochet needle. So glad I had a superior metal set handy. Have decided that plastic crochet needles suck.

I switched to a J needle; I didn’t like how open the DC was on this weight of yarn.

Well even though I used a double strand, it fit way too small when I completed the pattern, so I added 2 extra rows in the front. Almost added a 3rd row but just wanted to finish it so maybe later I could try a version where I knit the orange part instead.

So if someone wants to use the yarn that I used, I’d say add 2 more rows in the wide part of the “scoodie” and maybe another row in the short part. - unless you’re making it for a really little kid. I suppose it’s easy to adjust because you can try it on and just add rows.
