Notes

Ok I am a little ambivalent about this one. The yarn is gorgeous and totally deserves to be a tweedy tank top (I was aiming for librarian chic).

With the pattern, I didn’t really notice until I got to a late stage of knitting that this tank is not actually a V-neck but more like a round neck with a slit down the front so I altered the pattern to be a V-neck, by reducing stitches as I went, which worked fine.

However, when it was finished, I made the error of over-blocking the finished tank top before sewing up the seams, which means that it is now way too boxy in shape and quite unflattering :-( It does not hug the figure at all. (I am debating whether to try and shrink it… have no experience of this, but I wonder if it would work to try and felt it?)
