A dress done in the colors of a winter evening sky to celebrate the winter solstice.

The dress is based on the cap sleeve dress version of the dresses found in Julie Williams Seasonal Dresses patterns.

For this dress, I used a long tail cast on of 90 stitches and knit rows 2-5 on straight needles joining in the round on row 6. The long tail cast on is row 1. I did 15 repeats of the chart on the left. I followed my usual dress modifications and decreases found here

The crocheted stars and snowflakes are linked above. They are wonderful patterns! I used palette yarn and a 2.5 mm hook.

The bunny was knit with sublime extra fine merino dk in caramel on 2.75mm needles.
