Some bunny is ready for Saint Patrick’s Day in a festive green gingham shamrock dress with a crochet edging.

Using a long tail cast on of 96 stitches on straight needles and following the chart shown on the left, I knit two white garter stitch rows (shown as the first three white rows on the chart) and switched to the darker green and knit two more rows. I joined in the round on the sixth row of the chart and did 12 repeats of the chart. I followed my usual modifications found link text

The fancy hem was a simple crochet pattern. Using a 2.5 hook and fingering weight yarn work along the cast on bottom edge of the dress starting at the back seam…slip stitch in first stitch, skip one, single crochet 4 stitches in next stitch, skip one stitch, slip stitch in next….repeat to end.

The bunny was knit on 2.75mm needles using Sublime Extra Fine Merino Wool DK in Caramel.
