Notes

Entry no 1. I’ve gotten a whiff of skirt-mania. Now this is what I’m looking at - mostly. Blind spot? Likely. And I don’t quite have the figure for skirts but who cares :)

Entry no 2. I have wide hips and after losing a bit of weight, nowadays I have a waist again (hurrah!), so there is a large difference between my hip size and waist size. So I’ve just added two extra short rows in each section and it seems to work out well. I’m not going to do buttons, inf act it’ll be a piece of elastic at the top when skirt’s dry. I’m probably going to use Kitchener stitch for the ‘side seam’ (grafting).

Entry no 3. I need to take a photo of the finished skirt! It is the best comfiest skirt I’ve ever owned and now to procure some tights - haven’t worn a skirt since um……what ten years(?), but now’s the time to turn that around. Skirts are nice feminine and can be worn any time of the year. Do I sound convincing enough?!?

Entry no 4. A year later. No, didn’t convince anyone, but now it’s done. Click on the photos as the skirt was worn at the same time as the shrug was premiered.
