Notes

This is an experiment…..I’m going to give my first workshop on Freeform Knitting acc to Debbie New with swirls and knots and colours….and I’m preparing a few examples for that class, this is one of them, maybe just maybe it’ll turn into a vest!

Update in March- the bits have grown and grown and after some HEFTY joining sessions and practicing my ‘close small gaps’ skills, there are now two pieces that look like the front panels of a vest. Hmm….maybe a plain back in a dark colour?

2010 Feb Update. I really need to get a grip here. It’s currently on an exhibition but is coming home soon(ish).

2010 April update. Whoa……I’m experimenting with stitches and yarns for the back. It is quite a bit more difficult than I anticipated. The top of the two bits are joined, using a Myrna Stahmann’s Fisherman scarf type of join :) ite stretchy ribbing in a nice merino yarn for the back of the neck. But the rest - bears some thinking. Black? But that can be so boring….

Jan 2012. cough this is so not done, and I’m going to give myself a month of UFOs, perhaps starting in February.
But picking a suitable pattern/colours for the back has been so hard…
