I’m making a second simple sweater, using my “Not Quite Galaxy Quest” gradient by Marianated Yarns. I’m combining these 5 colors with 2 lace weight yarn that I dyed myself with “Bois de Campêche”. This combination will give me a DK yarn for my sweater.

I’ll see along the way if I introduce some texture to my sweater or not…

22/12: I reached the separation of the body and sleeves…

24/12: I’m 14.5 cm bellow the arms. I’ve made the transition between the second and third color.

Finally I didn’t need to use the fifth color of this gradient, the length of the body is reached.

03/01/2024: today I finished the body, then I begun the first sleeve.

08/01/2024: The sleeve is nearly done, it just needs the bottom ribs.

09/01/2024: first sleeve done, second sleeve begun.

12/01/2024: half the second sleeve is done.

14/01/2024: the last color transition is done, I hope that I’ll be able to finish it today. Done !!!

For the gradient yarns, I used 93.82 g of the first color, 77.44 g of the second, 83.02 g of the third and 66.14 g of the fourth.
For the lace yarn that I dyed, I used the whole first skein and nearly all the second, they were weighting over 105 g each.
