For one of my students at the ASAP program.

Had to make it fast because the Christmas break is coming up, and all I had to hand in black was acrylic aran when the pattern called for worsted, so it’s a bit bulkier than I expected. While I expect it to fit her, I’m a little disappointed with how this has affected the presentation of the pattern—the lace effect is too three-dimensional, not flat and lacey at all.

Next time I knit this pattern I’ll probably stick with natural fibres, and maybe go down a needle size.
