Notes

I had one lone skein of Pace Step which was actually a little short (48 gm instead of 50), so I combined it with the leftovers from a couple of skeins of Soles & More to make this pair of socks. The leg length is about 2” shorter than I normally knit. I basically just knit until I ran out of both yarns.

I cast on 20 stitches to start instead of 16 and used a Turkish Cast-on instead of Judy’s Magic Cast-On. I opted for the eye-of-partridge heel stitch and the ribbed cuff rather than hemmed picot finish so I could just knit until I ran out of yarn and not have to worry about trying to determine the point at which I needed to work the picot round in order to still have enough yarn to finish the hem. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off to finish the ribbing.
