I knit these socks 2 at a time by Magic Loop. I cast on 16 stitches using Judy’s Magic Cast-On, leaving a long tail, and knit one round. I knit the next round with the working yarn and the cast-on tail held double, bringing the stitch count up to 32. After that I made no other modifications to the pattern. I used the Eye-of-Partridge stitch for the faux heel flap and the hemmed picot option for the cuff. The leg is 6.75” including the picot cuff.
