This is another variation on the theme of this first tissue box cover attempt using the Rainbows and Daisies Square pattern. The fit is better with this one, and I like the look better than my second attempt.

For the top square the only change I made from the first tissue box cover is I used a double strand of yarn for the starting chain. Once I joined the chain in the round I continued with a single strand and worked round 2 of the pattern placing one cluster in each chain of the loop and round 3 of the pattern as written.

Since going down a hook size to reduce the size of the squares to improve the fit around the tissue box I had to also do something to add to the height of the squares. I added a row of HDC to the top and bottom edges of each of the 4 side squares before joining them using the same alternating slip stitch join that I used in this matching afghan. I trimmed the bottom with a shell edging.
