I cast on 247 stitches (19 repeats of the Tilting Ladders stitch pattern) on a 32 inch US size 9 circular needle. I then worked 5 rounds of seed stitch followed by two full repeats of the Tilting Ladders stitch pattern and then 5 more rounds of seed stitch. I bound off using US size 10.5 needle.

I think the stitch pattern would stand out much better with a solid color yarn rather than the tonal yarn that I used. Other than that I am happy with the result.
