Notes

I love this pattern! I used a Turkish cast-on instead of Magic Cast-on, but made no other changes. I started both socks with magic loop. On the first sock I switched to dpn’s once the first few toe increases were done. On the second sock I stayed with magic loop until I got to the ribbing. (All that fiddling with the cable was slowing me down!) Turning the heel is a lot easier with magic loop since all the heel stitches are on one side of the loop rather than split between two dpn’s.

As much as I love the pattern, I’m even more crazy about the yarn. The colors are amazing (all my favorites - greens, purples and blues - in one skein) and it feels really nice. When I find the time to make something for myself I’ll be able see how it wears.
