I used a Turkish cast-on instead of Magic Cast-on but made no other changes to the pattern. I worked this pair two at a time on one 47” US size 1 circular needle by Magic Loop. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off to bind off the cuffs.

This pattern is not as 2@at-friendly as most toe-up patterns because there is a point midway through the heel (between the short row turning and the faux heel/decreasing section) where you resume working in the round for just one round, but it is still workable.
