I used a Turkish cast-on instead of Magic Cast-on but made no other changes to the pattern. I worked this pair one at a time on a 47” US size 1 circular needle by Magic Loop. I used Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off to bind off the cuffs.
