This was actually cast on not long after the magazine was purchased, so somewhere between May and July 1994. I seem to remember not feeling well, so deciding to go to the wool shop (acrylics galore!) and get needles and yarn for this soft toy. Why? No idea. Just an urge to do something different from counted cross stitch I suppose. I hadn’t knit in 8-10 years (and I didn’t pick needles up again until 2003 and then only mucking about with maths patterns) I remember knitting it up quite quickly, then seaming and stuffing it. I even seamed the flippers, but I didn’t sew them on… until April this year, nearly 13 years down the line. It took me about 20 minutes to finish off. Procrastinate, me? I don’t know what you mean…
