I’m knitting this with yarn sent to me by SmokyJoe in the Caithness Craft Collective Podcast 100g swap, as part of the 100g KAL.

26-4-14:finished the stocking stitch section, started chart A.
27-4-14: Finished the first repeat of Chart A. Will definitely do three repeats of Chart A, maybe 4, but my yarn calculator predicts I’d be playing yarn chicken then!

Sometime in May: stuck with the three repeats of chart A.

24-5-14: last few rows seemed to take forever, but I completed the last 3 rows and the bind off on a mad road trip from Northwich to Norwich and back today. The skein was actually 105g and I used 94g. According to the shawl calculator I could only have squeezed an additional 6 rows out, not a full 12 row repeat of Chart A. Phew!
