Made to match Hannah for Riley. Changes were needed to make an in-between size - the child’s size only goes to age 8, but a women’s is too big. Cosmetic changes were also made, to make them match the hat better. And I wanted the cuffs nice and long to keep her warm.

Alterations made include:

• cast on 28 cuff
• 12 rows 2x2 rib
• 1 row purl then knit 11 rows
• use additional adult thumb gusset rows (m1, k6, m1) instructions, but with knit15 on the right, 13 on left
• 45 rows from cuff to fingertip shaping
• arrange as 14-7-7
• thumb:knit 9 rows even
