EYF Sweater #1
I am very pleased with this FO and wore it endlessly during EYF 2019. The sweater continues to be on heavy
rotation & I have received so many kind compliments. The fit & overall shape are exactly as I had hoped for.

Other then knitting the sweater at a tighter row & sts gauge, knitting extra-long sleeve cuffs & working more fairisle motif repeats, I knit the pattern as written. When I knit this again I will may substitute different charts/stranded designs for the fair isle bands and/or knit a solid colour version. I would go up a needle size for the sleeves if (when) I knit this again (my gauge tightens considerably with small circumference knitting) and I go up 2 needles sizes when knitting the fairisle bands.

The yarn - Loft - was wonderful to work with is wearing very well. I’ve blocked the sweater 3 times already & it seems to soften with each blocking.
I know often wax poetics about BT yarns & patterns, but I really can’t recommend them highly enough!

NOTES
-hem ribbing knit w/ 2.75 mm needles
-stst sections + neckband + sleeve cuffs ribbing knit w/ 3.0 mm
-fair isle sections knit with 3.25 mm needles (next time knit with 3.5 mm needles)
