My much-loved Rabbi is currently fighting ovarian cancer. I cast on the day I learned of her diagnosis.

Don’t Panic, of course, for the encouragement…but as I knit, I meditated on the 91st Psalm.

So I skipped to Draconis partway through, and selected random rows of that as I went - Draconis, for trampling on serpents/things that attack.

Then I finished with fluttery lace, to echo the wings that we are told we can find shelter underneath <3

The yarn was fantastic, and I steam-blocked it and mailed it out. It should be easy care, and I hope will bring her comfort as she undergoes treatment!
