So back in January, when I had surgery, I knit myself something like 5 pairs of socks.

I’m having another major surgery Monday (goodbye, monthly subscription!) and I wanted to knit something but it’s hot and I already have socks.

My friend suggested I make myself a hair wrap, so I can keep my hair out of my face and off my neck while I’m in the hospital and even that first week or so at home, when I won’t have energy to devote to it.

And that’s when I decided that I didn’t like any of the available patterns, but I had always wanted to try Frost Flowers by Barbara Walker, so I grabbed some Lion Brand Amazing Lace and size 7 needles and just had fun.

Yes, it’s acrylic, but I’m thinking it’s important to be able to machine wash and dry this!
