Planning a reasonably large blanket for my little sister who’s moved in with her boyfriend. Their living room is apparently going to be painted grey with a bit of bright green, so this blanket will be a pale grey with a single edging row of bright green :) A bit like these ones:

13/09/14: Granny square blanket in simple grey acrylic/wool blend. I’ll go until I get bored, and then keep going.

30/09/14: Onto the second ball of grey.

13/10/14: Used up second ball, onto third. Will probably use up at least 4, maybe even all 5 balls I bought! Spotted a small mistake where I skipped a repeat quite early in the middle, so I’ve tried to fix it - will lay it out to see how obvious it is, though I know Catou won’t care ;)

24/12/14: Finished the square shape a week ago, then added 16 straight rows to each end to make it more rectangular. Added the two rows of single crochet in green yesterday. Wove ends in and wrapped it up today, ready to be opened on Christmas day tomorrow.
