I altered the Churchmouse pattern to use this 6 ply sock yarn* as follows:
Heel Flap: Cast on 12 stitches and worked for a total of 24 rows. Bound off all but one stitch on row 25.
Heel: Picked up 15 stitches along one side, picked up 10 stitches for heel bottom and picked up 16 stitches on other side for a total of 42 stitches. Worked as per pattern for 28 rows.
Foot: Picked up 12 stitches for top of foot and joined stitches as per pattern instructions. Worked in the round for a total of 25 rows.
Shape toe: I started the decrease on row 26 and alternated decrease rows/knit rows until there were 8 stitches left on the needle. Hence, the sharply angled toe design.
Finishing: Grafted the 8 remaining stitched together using the kitchener stitch.

This sock yarn was leftover from knitting a pair of socks. There was sufficient leftover to make these Turkish slipper socks.
